Welcome to the Skyline Lakes Section of Ringwood! At Skyline Lakes, we offer year round activities for the entire family. Although homeowners living in the designated areas of Skyline Lakes are eligible for active membership, only those members paying dues are entitled to use the facilities. Lakefront residents are required to be members in order to have boats, rafts, watercraft and/or a dock or structure in or over the water. Dues cover the taxes payable to the town of Ringwood, maintenance of the lakes, properties and clubhouse, fish stocking, and other services provided by SLPOA throughout the year.

In addition to maintaining the lakes and properties and providing a variety of social and sporting functions, SLPOA acts to protect the property values and rights of homeowners as a group and to present a united stand in decisions affecting the Skyline Lakes community at the borough, county and state level.

In the summer we offer swimming lessons and a summer program for children ages 3 through 14. Lifeguards are on duty at the main beach during the swimming season. The lakes are constantly monitored during the summer months by both a professional consultant and the Board of Health. Samplings are taken for bacterial and algae analysis and treatments are made as required, which offers a clean, safe swimming environment. SLPOA members are eligible to join the Erskine Lakes Aquatic Club, or the Cupsaw Lake Stingrays, competitive swim team programs for ages 5 – 18.

Fishing is permitted on both lakes for active members and their guests. Natural to our lakes are sunnies, perch, pickerel and pike. Our lakes are also stocked with large and smallmouth bass, channel catfish, and trout, offering year round fishing enjoyment.

Both the upper and lower lakes are excellent for rowing, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, and paddle boating. We also allow approved electric motors. In order to keep our lake as clean as possible, gasoline motors are prohibited. Boat launches and storage are available at designated areas on both lakes. Members may enjoy swimming (at your own risk) anywhere in the upper and lower lakes. In the winter, ice-skating, hockey, and ice fishing are popular.

SLPOA maintains a calendar of social events throughout the year. Not to be missed is our annual summer steak roast. Our sports club sponsors a number of events including children’s fishing contests, dart league, pool tournaments and adult fishing contests. Youth parties are held to celebrate many holidays. Movie nights, Bingo, and other events are available for children 16 and younger.

Our smoke-free clubhouse lounge is open every Friday and Saturday evening (Friday’s only in August). Stop in and socialize with other members, play pool, electronic darts, or shuffleboard, while you enjoy your favorite beer, cocktail or non-alcoholic drink. It’s the perfect place to relax at the end of the work week. Included in your membership is the right to rent our hall for personal parties at a reasonable fee. The hall features heat, air conditioning, full kitchen, stage, dance floor, and outside lawn and patio areas. Low, weekday rental fees are also available.

Our membership dues are only $360.00 a year, that’s less than $1.00 a day. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call. We strive to create a friendly, family oriented environment and we hope you will wish to join us.
